Horseback Riding

Experience horseback riding along the shores of Providenciales with guided tours.

Riding on horseback is an amazing and romantic way to experience the white sand beaches and turquoise waters of the Turks and Caicos Islands.

Local horseback riding excursions will take you along quiet dirt roads and canals to one of the most secluded beaches of Providenciales.

Provo Ponies

Provo Ponies, a small and much beloved horseback riding stable located quite close to The Sands at Grace Bay, leads these popular horseback tours.

The stable offers two guided horseback rides each day Monday through Friday, while Saturdays are devoted to horseback lessons. On Sundays horses enjoy a day off.

Long Bay Beach

From the Provo Ponies stable, horses travel along quiet dirt roads and trails to Long Bay Beach.

Long Bay Beach, a 4-mile long secluded beach on the southeast side of Provo, lies on the opposite side of the island from Grace Bay Beach and The Sands resort.

The shallow waters of the Caicos Banks off Long Bay Beach make it an ideal place to take your horse into the ocean.

More experienced riders are given the chance to trot or canter if conditions allow it.

Beach Rides on Providenciales

The morning ride leaves at 9:30am and the afternoon ride at 3:00pm during winter hours, and at 4:00pm during the summer.
